·      Our Fall Worship schedule begins next Sunday, September 5^th.  Sunday morning services will be at 8:15 and 10:00 am. 

·      Many thanks to the Carol and Kelsey Park for providing coffee hour today.

·      Morning Prayer – Morning Prayer is held on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings at 8 am.

·       Garage Sale -  Saturday, September 18^th from 8am – noon. The donation drop off time is Friday, the 17^th at 4:00pm - 7:00pm.  We need volunteers!  Lots of volunteers.  Please sign up at the kiosk if you can help.

·       Faith Matters, also know as St. Mary Magdalene 101, will resume for 10 weeks this fall.   The class is a good opportunity to: meet some fellow St Mary Magdalene folks,  ask some questions about the Episcopal church in general or St Mary Magdalene in particular; hear presentations and enter into discussions on topics like the bible, faith, prayer, church history, Jesus; share a meal you didn't have to prepare.  Please sign up at the kiosk if you're interested.  The class begins September 15, 6:30 - 8:30pm.   

·       September Women’s Gathering - Please join us on Thursday, September 9th from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Let's gather at the fireplace to celebrate and share. The evening's topic will be "Serving Ourselves and Others." Light refreshments will be served. No need to RSVP.

·       Our annual Stewardship Dinner will be held on Saturday, September 11^th at 6:00 pm.  We will have New Orleans cuisine created by Chef Gus (Mary Hardy’s son).  Childcare will be provided for children 4 and under.  Please sign up at the kiosk if you plan to attend.

·       Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University begins Sunday, September 12, 6 – 8 pm   Scholarships are available. Financial Peace University is a wonderful, practical, entertaining 13 week class designed to help people successfully manage their own finances.  This course will help you understand the forces behind your financial distress, create a budget you can stick to, set goals you can achieve, and make things right for you and your family – financially, emotionally, and spiritually – for good. 

      The cost is $110 per person/couple. Please contact the church

·       Heatherwood Pancake Breakfast - Sunday, September 12 8:00 – 11:00 am  Bring the family and enjoy a morning with a homemade breakfast  cooked by famous Heatherwood Dads!!! $20 for a family of four or $6 per person             BIKE RODEO:  Get ready for Walk & Roll week - Ride your bikes so the kids can have their helmets fitted, bikes tuned and do the fun obstacle course!

·      Book Group - The Pierre’s will host the Sept. 24, 2010 book club at 7 PM at their home, 6988 Hunter Pl, Boulder, 80301. Janie has chosen the 1988 Barbara Kingsolver novel The Bean Trees for some light summer reading. Please respond to jmpie2@comcast.net or 303-530-0536 to let Janie know if you can attend.
