Greetings from the Rector
Dear Friend,
Welcome to St. Mary Magdalene Episcopal Church. We are a “community
celebrating and sharing God’s love.” Those words describe our life:
Community.....
We believe God’s love has brought us together to get to know God and each other – relationships, knowing each other’s names, and being together
are important.
Celebrating.....
We believe God intends us to have a good time in this life. We celebrate God’s love and blessings and we try to have a sense of humor in everything we do.
Sharing.....
We believe we are to share with one another, so that each child of God has the basics of life: food, clothing, shelter, people who care and access to education and meaningful work.
The best way to gain a sense of our parish’s character is to visit and spend some time among us. You’ve begun that process, and I encourage you to take your time as you explore, question and decide whether or not to become part of this community of faith.
God Bless,
Michael Houlik
Rector
